History

New Century Sales, Inc., formerly known as Reliant Sales, Inc., was purchased from Lynn Krueger on March 1, 1997 by Richard Portt, Robert Sims and Michael Zago. Since then, NCS has acquired 3 other Michigan rep agencies securing key product lines and sales associates. In 2019, NCS principals Richard Portt and Michael Zago merged with Meek/Beck & Associates principals Ross Beck and Rod Cox creating a diverse portfolio of manufacturers servicing all aspects of the plumbing & heating industry including commercial, residential & showroom.

Together we have over 75 years of experience in the Michigan market operating out of two office buildings both with warehouses. In addition, the agency employs a professional and knowledgeable support staff driven by the need to succeed both professionally and personally. Ongoing goals are to develop new and existing markets, expand the secondary markets and maximize growth potential for our manufacturer and wholesale partners.
